Nuit de Sable is inspired by a summer night in the gardens of the Royal Palace. To recreate this magical moment and place, I wanted a dreamy, very textured perfume. I worked a hot sand accord, composed of Australian organic sandalwood, tonka bean, and a touch of Egyptian cumin, which gives it a sensual warmth. To make it more complex and sophisticated and elegant, I chiseled a cocktail of spices (Guatemalan cardamom, Ceylon cinnamon and Indonesian nutmeg) on a Turkish rose absolute. I wanted a colorful, warm and captivating fragrance that reveals the fullness of its nuances on the skin.

This fragrance is really beautiful. It is warm, spicy, the sandalwood is very well balanced, not too dry, not too creamy. To me, this is wearable all year round, in spring and summer I would wear it in the evening though.
